Word on the street is players will soon be able to transfer to another school w/o having to sit out a year. I suggest in this scenario prohibiting transfers within conference. Discuss.
I can’t wait to see the Evil Dwarf flame out on this one. He’ll be waving his hands , shrugging his shoulders and of course wearing a hideous sweater.
Heard that yesterday. Theoretically a player could play for 4 different schools in his college career. Matt Moscona said they should prohibit in-conference transfers. I hate to agree with him about anything but in this case I have to. I think that a player should be to sit out a season unless his coach leaves for ani job or is fired.
More likely he will be recruiting the best players on other teams to transfer to Alabama. "Honey Badger. It's me. Nick Saban. I hear LSU kicked you off the team for smoking dope. Come play for us. Here at Alabama we don't have any rules."
Can you imagine recruiting kids that are at Alabama currently, or Saban giving let’s say Rashard Lawerence a call and asking if he wants to win a championship quit LSU and come play for us.
Yes I can. College football would turn into total free agency. Texas A&M has the most money so in 18 years they could surpass Alabama in national championships.
Would they be able to transfer during the season and play right away? LSU could have picked up a free agent kicker.
Your idea makes good sense. Dilly Dilly. IF coaches leaves. Allowing it under firings might create havoc.
Hey it’s quite possible a star running back may leave because another conference school has just upgraded their chemical engineering department. Wait for it..... ROFLMGDAO !
