    Yes and no I have not had them. You'd be nuts to eat 'em if you catch my drift !

    No, I'm interested....I have this weird interest in bizarre foods. I dont eat them, but I like hearing about them. I'm a sucker for that show Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmer.

    It may end up being a "what's the grossest thing you have ever eaten" thread...

    I'll start: Anything anyone ever tried to pass off as good seafood outside of Louisiana ;)

    Cowboy stew gets it's name from the days of the western cattle drives. When meat was needed they butchered a steer and couldn't preserve the "innards" so the meal that 1st night was a stew made with the heart, liver, kidney, spleen and small intestine (grilliades). It's pretty good. I still make a version of it using heart, liver and shoulder steak. I also like the grilliades when I can get them.
