The definition of what war is. You want to use all of our resources to battle terrorism endlessly. I agree that terrorism should be taken seriously, but there are ways other than throwing our army and young people at it.

Are you daft, man? I cut/pasted a dictionary definition and highlighted the one that showed your ignorance.

    Are you a girl?

Yeah. We could elect a muslim president and send him to Egypt and Saudi Arabia to mollify and coddle the muslims all the while kissing their ass while snubbing our one staunch ally in the region. Oh wait....

    i dont understand your point.

there is a global effort to bring democracy and freedom to areas overrun with fundamentalist lunacy. these dangerous areas produce terrorists, folks that believe that people who are not of their religion are infidels and deserve death. these folks want to establish a global muslim caliphate.

but lolz it dont make sense to say war on terror haaha you are stung the neocons lolz

obama is sending more troops to afghnanistan. you should remind his dumb ass that "terror" is a concept and you cant really fight a war against it.

perhaps you have a better long term solution to this issue?

    hmmmm..................sounds familiar.

there is a global effort to bring democracy and freedom to areas overrun with fundamentalist lunacy.

I didn't realize we were sending Jerry Falwell overseas. I think they should take this young muslim to court in Arkansas everyday to answer for his crimes. Just one deputy should be enough for the escort. Hell, no deputy for that matter, just give him a city bus pass. No fricking flak jacket for the trip either. The time should be prominently advertised for every Arkansas citizen to see. I think this would be enough punishment for justice to prevail.

Let's see. You attempted to make a smart ass comment based on the dictionary as if I am not aware there are multiple definitions of the word "war". In other words, in trying to show *my* ignorance, you reflect a light not so complimentary on yourself. As a husband myself, I've been the recipient of this before. I've also been guilty of it once or twice. Both husbands and wives show their ass, and I've seen quite a few husbands, you and I included, do it here. I don't know martin's sexual orientation, but he is quite often guilty as well.

I was waiting for someone to comment on this, particularly you. I don't have a problem with Obama's speech, but I assumed you would. I guess you don't think Muslims are human and they definitely aren't capable of peace.

One day we will be able to stamp out terrorism worldwide if we just remain vigilant and keep the rest of the world on lockdown. As we're rife with wealth and social perfection, we can bankroll this and dedicate our policy makers to it, no prob.

That's very abusive language to /33+ h4ck3rz everywhere. I want your badge and your gun and your resignation on my desk by yesterday morning. As an aside, I didn't know you were bilingual.

I'm not sure this is the ideal solution, but our focus should have remained on Al Quaeda since 9/11. Running off to Iraq was foolish. I am totally resolved to get bin Laden.

Makes at least as much sense as most of your arguments. Also based on your imagination, an endless fount of... something. I am a big fan of imagination, so that should most def be commended.

Obama is not using the phrase "War on Terror", that was a Bushism. The fight in Afghanistan is to support the friendly government in Afghanistan because the former Taliban government allowed Al Qaida to establish bases there that were used to train the 9/11 terrorists and allowed them safe haven.

The fight against Al Qaida will still have to be a covert fight by special operations forces and the CIA. We're not going to hear much about that, except for the steady stream of unconfirmed reports that we are targeting their leaders with missiles launched from remotely piloted CIA aircraft. The overt War in Afghanistan is to keep the former Taliban government from re-establishing itself. There is a difference.
