I've never really bought into the "one play/call doesn't decide a game" theory. Fact is, one play or call decides a game quite frequently. Given that, I still think we win even if the score a TD on that possession.

What is this, the Zapruder film thread? Where's Ramah when you need him? We could have easily put up another 6 (I won't say 7) on the fightin' Shulas at the end of the game. Bama scoring then would have only served to pad Joe Addai's stats.

I'm just saying that if other plays are made than that one is not the determining factor in the outcome of the game.

Bad No Call??? Not from my point of view...

I have been watching & listening to  vs Bama since '57.. and during all of this time ... this is the FIRST time that I can honestly remember a BAD call go LSU's way... I say... Bama .. forget it .. go on with your next game ... as we had to do many times .. as there are lessons to be learned in defeat :angryfire .. just as there are in victory  ...

Your assuming they score a TD, plus the INT didn't lead to an LSU TD, that didn't come till later on....One call or no call doesn't a game make. Why is Bama's coaches and players and the media act like everything up to that point was legitimate then everything after was illegitimate? The refs didn't cause Pennington to cough up the ball, Spears did and it wasn't the white hat who ran it in, it was Cameron Vaughn. I guess the refs also missed holding calls on Joe Addai's two long touchdowns. Uuuuuuugggggghhhhh....this is mind numbing. Bama has absolutely no reason to whine....they got beat on the field, not by the officials.

What about the 2000 "instant replay" game. Thanks to the Jumbotron that the refs claim they didn't look at which cleary show LSU's ball, Bama would have gotten the ball close to the goal line. I don't recall the specifics of the play. Here is a photo, which has been posted before, of the players pointing to the Jumbotron.

Here's my problem with the no call. Webster had position. If anything the receiver would have had to turn into a defender to stop an int. No way was this ball going to be a TD for Bama.

On a side note there was another acting award nomonee. #9 went flying on the ground then rolled about 5 yrds trying to draw a PF late kit on lsu.
