TO does deserve more money in NFL terms. We all know and would agree that teachers and so forth get paid too little (well, when discussing Professional Athletes at least IMO).

I dislike the punk but he is one of the best and isn't paid like it.

I wouldnt pay him crap like the Eagles have done though

If you don't want to pay the best the money they deserve, then you can become the Saints...

Owens wins wherever he goes, and if the Eagles don't pay/play him this year, they can draft a good receiver in the draft this year, b/c they will have a good pick

I wouldn't exactly say teams win wherever he goes....he had Young in his first few years and then the 49'ers went pretty average.

He had one good year with the Eagles

Well yeah... obviously he needs players around him, but he makes everyone better...

You can't deny that he made Donovan McNabb WAY WAAAAAAAAY more of a solid QB this past year...

He acted like an A-Number 1 A$$ is how he acted. He took his whining to the media, and that is not where negotiations should take place. He went out of his way to call a teammate out, and continued to bad-mouth his team, its coaches and its owners. Gee, why should that isolate him?

We had a woman in our office like that. She was the golden child (employee of the year, big bonuses, etc.) but nothing was ever good enough. She bitched and complained about EVERYTHING. When she finally got another job, there was a line to help her pack!!!

Ya know what? We don't miss her and our production has improved. A cancer is a cancer, no matter how much it looks like a remedy.

In all fairness, it's kinda bad luck for TO that his last two QB's have been a homo and a choker, respectively.:rofl: I KEED I KEEEEEED.

HAHAHAHAHAH you will compare an office to a football team?

T.O took the Eagles to the next level...

Without him, whether the players like him or not, they WILL NOT get there...

Shaq and Kobe had differences, and won 3 titles! :)

so PLEASE don't compare the NFL to your coffee-table discussions with the person in the next booth as you in the office

hahah yeah... McNabb needs more fingers pointed his way... How many INTs did he throw in the red-zone?

2? 3? But yeah! our diluted media won't ever bash him, because he is on that funny commercial, and is always smiling and laughing!

I think his analysis is exactly right.

Why not compare the two because we are talking about the same thing.

One of Tom Landry's biggest regrets is trying to help Duane Thomas and he admitted he treated him differently. Thomas pulled the same kind of crap Owens is and Coach Landry treated him different. I was reading an article about it and Tom Landry said it was a mistake for him to let Thomas get away with that type behavior just because he was good. It divided the Cowboys team that year and the other players resented it.

What people do with their money is of course their business. I wonder how many of these same people would take the money they spend on one game including ticket, parking, etc. and donate to some worthy cause? Just curious.
