I was one of those that thought that you guys screwed up when you hired him. I stand corrected, he has done a helluva job(hard to argue with numbers). Doesn't matter who recruited them, someone still has to coach 'em.
I was hoping for Kirk Ferentz and withheld feelings when we hired him, mainly b/c I really knew nothing about him at the time and he lacked that personna that NS, SS, MR, etc. have. I really think the guy's no-nonsense and like him a lot, not only for the coach but the overall rep. he is of our program. Your're so right LVT, I love SabanFan's quote about Miles winning more games with Saban's recruits than Saban did- dat ol bastid has a way with words. :hihi:
like Archer? oh, i forgot, even he won an SEC championship. jury is still out, and will be at least until he wins something. anyone who thinks otherwise should have their ability to complain in the future revoked. dont take this to mean i dont like les or think he's not a good coach, in fact he's very capable, but either y'all know more about football than i think, or youve been drinking too much P&G koolaid.
Yeah, not to be your typical "Tiger-hate'n-on-Tide" fan, but I thought the #17 ranking he gave 'Bama was generous. I can see the Tide as a top 15 team later on in the season once some of the question marks have been answered--namely at running back.
LVT, did you catch that, in his 1st and 2nd team (Offense and defense) LSU had 3 and USC had 7?? Hmmm.......that bet's looking good. :hihi:
Good answer and I'd take an NC over anyone.......prolly wouldn't be able to post for several months anyway- I'd be so hungover. Not counting chickens though, in fact, hope I'm wrong.....just don't see it though. :thumb:
