Royal China IS good - my uncle lives in Metarie and took me there 2 years ago... Haven' been to Great Eastern in SF but sounds great...
ALSO: There is a place around the corner from my house here that makes hand pulled noodles (sounds nasty :hihi: ) with a spicy peanut sauce with pork and mushrooms...YES! ...and I forgot - my wife got the recipe for EXCELLENT ma po tofu from the Taiwanese neighbors across the street... ...oh, and I also really like cute Asian servers, too! :thumb:
that may be true, i dont know. but what i do know is i love the greek/lebanese type food in baton rouge. arzis, zorbas, albasha, i love those places. baton rouge kicks as in the gyros department.
We do offer a wide assortment of greek/lebanese joints. Almost to the point of wondering how they stay in business with no much competition. But then again, there ain't sh!t to do in BR if its not football season, so everyone goes out to eat and to the movies. BR is pushing NY for most theaters per capita.
GREATEST INTENTIONAL TYPO EVAH !!!!!      You da man martin !!!!! :thumb:
Zorba's was my favorite restaurant in BR. I moved away in 98, and when I returned a couple of years later, it was closed. :bncry: Is it gone, or did they just move?
I believe it is gone for good. Never ate there, but the few people I knew who had, spoke very highly of it.
