I love LSU with everything I have... my wardobe and memorabilia can attest to that... but IF LSU ever brought in Petrino to coach LSU football, i'm off the bandwagon until he leaves.

You can't spell adultery without UL.

When Warrick Dunn and Todd McClure call you a POS, you are a POS. This one is too easy

Warrick Dunn, damn..... Baton Rouge guy we lost out on. Did we even recruit him, I'm interested in that story, far more interesting than Bobby Petrino.

Awhile back, I read something on a message board (maybe this one) that claimed Petrino's mistress/employee was not on his motorcycle when he crashed. The story was that her fiance followed her to a hotel where she was meeting up with Petrino. Petrino then fled on his motorcycle and the girl got in the car with her fiance. They followed Petrino and ran him off the road. She got out of the car to check on Petrino while the fiance left the scene.

Can anyone confirm if the above is accurate?

It's common knowledge that Petrino initially told his AD (boss) that he was alone on the motorcycle but changed his story when he heard that the police report said both him and his mistress were involved in the accident. If this story is accurate, he may have lied to both the police and his boss.

I'm kind of shocked that Louisville would give him another chance. They are a decent program.

Classy dude, mother was murdered at the Albertsons on College Dr. I think. He also helped poor people in BR get into homes. Did alot for the community in honor of his mother.

How did he not end up a Tiger?

I'm not real sure, maybe someone else here has a little more information on Warrick's recruitment if any by LSU.

If LSU didn't recruit him in any way, that would explain some of the issues with LSU football back in those days. Dunn was a beast, did all the hard work between the 20s for Alstott.
