Do you really feel Muschamp is not qualified to be the defensive coordinator? That's really the first I've heard that on this board. Mebbe I didn't pick up on it before.....
All I know is I have heard Bill Oliver speak very highly of Muschamp on B'ham local radio. He basically said he picked up how to coach defense like no other he has seen. It is still unknown how he would do without Saban around. LSUDAN
Ya'll may not care since it was Tubs on the short end but just remember it was Petrino who was playing a part in trying to stab Tubs in the back. Pertino even met with the infamous guys from Auburn without even telling his AD. If that's what you call class and you guys want him more powere to you. But if Auburn had a HC vacancy I sure as heck wouldn't want Petrino . No doubt he is a good coach but he would eventually stab you in the back for a better offer. JMHO.
Better offer? Where? NFL maybe but there is no college football program like LSU. Even AU has to fight Bama for your recruits not to mention most other SEC schools have to fight with some other instate college. I know I have purple and gold shades but hey, even outsider must admit coach football @ LSU could have some advantages over other schools.
ditto, he's respected by many who respect Saban which says a lot. Most know better than that. he's more than capable as a coordinator. I'd take him in a second. HC, no, of course not. not yet.
