Well they do have the opportunity to donate and have that option... but forums and all functions of said forums should be free... if somone "wants" to donate as a sign of generosity then so be it but accesses shouldn't be restricted because someone didn't pay their $20. Just my opinion.
I meant the pro sports forum was renamed. I am not referring to the Tubbs thread I complained about earlier.
I do contribute, enjoy posting here, and I do agree about the free SEC forum. I started here as a visitor posting for free in the Tigers Den. I have been treated very courteous since I signed up and found it easy to become a contributor. It's fun to converse with rival fans in a civil manner and that's what is offered here. Giving that same exposure in a free forum to other rival visitors will only further advertise what you guys have going here and IMO will lead to more rival contributors. Again my vote is yes!
I voted no. We can come up with a better solution and have some ideas flowing. Give us all a bit of time. :thumb:
I say why not? Will it keep contributors from coming back? I think not!! It just may make more "good" rival SEC posters want to join. Plus if it gets to be a bunch of flamers, then cut it off.
I voted yes, but I would just like for The Den to go back to what it's been in the past--SEC football talk, whether it was directly about LSU or not, was always in here. This week, it seems, anything that isn't directly related to LSU has been moved someplace. Why did the Lane Kiffin thread get moved? It's in the SEC; it affects LSU. Why are threads about Tubs getting moved? It's in the SEC; it affects LSU. Why are all SECCG/BCSNCG threads getting moved? We love college football; LSU plays college football (though not very well in '08.) It wasn't broken. Why are we trying to fix it?
