My High algebra teacher was just nuts for Marivich when he played for the Hawks, he'd tell us all about the previous night's game and how great the Pistol was and he'd go on about how fantastic Marivich played and described the game's key moments, he'd really get fired up about it,.. we'd egg him on, the less math the better.
whoops, shoulda been "High School" algebra teacher,.. maybe he was high though, kinda explains his behavior.
