    To clarify...

Pete said it is a great celebration, a great local event for LSU, but a great event none the less.

We complain about Pete, but he wanted what was fair, and that was #1 vs #2 in the last game.

OU is a great team, but USC deserved to be there more in my opinion.

    ANYWAYS...WE ARE CHAMPIONS....ENJOY IT TIGERS!!!!!!!!

I think OU deserved to be there but,

under the current system with the prejudise and politics involved
    USC should've been there

OU deserved to be there. If USC had been there the game wouldn't have been that close because our offense would have rolled up more points than they did against a great Oklahoma defense.

Disagree here. OU did lose their championship game, but they lost it to a top ranked team. USC lost to an unranked Cal. What's the justification for OU not deserving to be there?? I agree with Stoops' comments about not changing the rules once they are set and the BCS rules said nothing about having to win your conference game to be in the BCS championship.

Should you be a conference champion to be in the big game? Yes, of course. At the same token every BCS conference should have that championship game.

OU deserved to be there no matter how you slice it given the current rules.
