Determining the NC is better now than it ever was. It still might not be perfect. In past years, the AP Poll and the UPI Poll were the major polls, but not the only ones. There were many others. UPI Poll changed to the Coaches' Poll, and we narrowed it down to basically two polls. We settled on the BCS system, yet the sports jounalists still tout their own AP Poll as superior to the BCS system! The sports journalists push their own self-serving agenda by pimping their own AP Poll.
I dont see why all of you guys are so mad. USC are the true peoples champions not some computer champions like Lsu
LOL, then why were every USC coach, player and fan so upset about not being in the BCS game? If playing in the BCS National Championship game wasn't your goal at the beginning of the year, then not getting there shouldn't have been a big deal, right?
LSU is the one true champion of college football under the system in place that ALL Division 1A universities (INCLUDING USC) agreed to abide by. Things didn't go your way? TS.
Just wait until next year when USC takes out LSU if LSU can make it to the Championship game. You guys wont be able to stop anyone on our team.
If USC would focus on the future and not the past they should have no problems getting to the Orange Bowl - however, please do not come in here and say the Pac-10 and the SEC are remotely close in terms of competition. If LSU makes it to the Orange Bowl it will be after defeating several Top 15 teams and winning the SEC - if USC makes it to the Orange Bowl it will be after defeating 2 top 30 teams and playing no Championship Game.
