Similar to the grocery store when there are 2 or more people peering on the shelves blocking the aisle. Most of the time an 'excuse me' works, but every so often you'll get one that either doesn't hear you or is oblivious. That's about the time I use my cart to shove theirs out of the way. I'm nice to a point, but I have zero tolerance for rudeness and will not hesitate to give what I get.
Worse than that is someone waiting for a parking spot and stops their car directly behind you while you are trying to back out. I've honked and made a motion for them to back up but they don't. C'mon, no-one is going to come steal their spot in the time it takes me to back up and them to pull back up to where they were waiting. Happened to me last night as I was leaving a restaurant. I swear the person they were waiting on had not even opened the trunk to unload when the stopped. I'm only parked a few spaces back. Surely 20 ft is not that much farther to walk...
I don't mind the cap off the toothpaste as much as I LOATHE when my wife constanly leaves remnants of toothpaste around the opening and it builds up until there is a huge glob of hardened toothpaste and new toothpaste can barely squirt out.
seperate bathrooms, seperate toothpaste.... solves a lot of arguments. i dont go in his bathroom, he doesnt go in mine. :hihi: im pretty sure the reason we are adding a bathroom to the nola house as we rebuild is not to add to the value of the house, but to keep some from facing murder charges. while we are on idiot parkers, i HATE IT when people park in the fire lane. that just irritates the crap out of me.
Yeah, I don't have enough money to have 2 houses, our second bathroom is at the other end of the house, and there is already too many "beauty" products on the bathroom counter anyway so until then I just "happily" (been married 2 years) clean the threads on the tube and the cap.... that is until she starts working and we buy a new home with separate counters and maybe even his/hers bathrooms.
I don't have a his/hers bathroom, but at least, the bathroom is big enough that I have a sink and vanity, as does he. I use the tub; he uses the separate shower, and that's usually enough room to keep us out of each other's way.
We have seperate sinks but even better we get up for work at different times!! He leaves around 6:30am and I get up around 7am. I am able to brush my teeth in one sink (cold water) and wash my face in the other (hot water.) SIMULTANEOUSLY.
I do that at night, I thought I was the only person that had that idea, I hate having to wait on hot water to go back cold or cold water to get hot.... well not really hate in the sense it is a pet peeve but I guess just want to hurry up and get all that done so i can go to sleep.
