If this is per pet I just might move in that no income tax zone. Just one aquarium and you would be set.
i read "tax break" as making them deductible. not tax credits. anyway, this is quite unrealistic there are other things they should make tax deductible first---like all child care expenses (the limit is about half of the cost) and how about food?
Who gives a crap about a percentage. When you take money out of someone's pocket to pay for someone else the system is flawed. Make 100k give the govt 30k Make 200k give the govt 60k That is beyond ridiculous. This govt. penalizes those that become successful on the very dream that this country is made of.
You don't get something for nothing. Even children learn this very early. The "system" we have here is the best in the world at allowing someone to get wealthy. It has its price, because they system has to be paid for and the ones making the most profit must pay in fair proportion. They have benefitted form the system more than anybody. You seem to think there is a right to be selfish.
What system do you speak of? And you are talking about paying a "fair" proportion.. Who is defining fair? I think giving $10k for taxes of my money is fair-enough. The thought that because you "benefited" and make more money now you must GIVE some of it to the govt. is crap.
That's the problem. You want to pay what seems "reasonable" to you, without any consideration of whether it is enough money to operate the government.
The problem is the government trying to operate everything. I would rather choose what I would like to participate in and benefit from with the government's "fringe" benefits.
Well, people in Hell would like ice water, too! What workable system would allow everybody to pick and choose what part of government they are willing to use and support.
