im not sure if i would want somebody that dumb running our offence. seriously, this is the second time he has got in trouble dealing with a casino boat. not to mention hes kind of a big name in baton rouge and maybe, just maybe, people can pick him out of a crowd knowing he's not 21. it makes me mad to see this

Let him go to Grambling. If he's stupid enough to do this again and jeopardize HIS career along with tarnishing LSU's image--good riddance. Hate to say it, but it's true.

I gotta agree. I don't think this a major infraction that justifies a long suspension. If the boats were around when I was 20, I'd have tried to get in. The man can vote or die for his country, but he can't bet a few bucks at the legal boat. Sometimes I think we've got our priorities a little screwed-up.
Hope Miles is a little lenient on this matter. And I hope Mr. Perrilioux learns not to break the rules.

The law is the law. He apparently broke it--again. In light of the investigation months ago, not a smart move by Mr. RP.
I know that RP was cleared of any implications in the prior investigation, but now this surfaces? Where does a college athlete even get money to gamble with? I hope LSU comes down hard on him. You can't reprimand other players and then let RP slide just because he's RP. :dis:

This sounds like Pacman Jones, always getting in trouble but has not been found guilty of anything yet. Mr. Perrilloux needs to be put on a very short leash. He also needs to be in discussion about what is going on in Pro Sports with so many athletes being arrested and specifically Pacman Jones. He needs to be asked about his own thoughts on his behavior compared to Pacman Jones. He needs to come to grips with this. If he does not he will be throwing his whole talented career away on ego and not understanding how to be accountable to himself and others.

And more importantly, if he does not get with the program then expell him from school. WE DO NOT NEED ANY TROUBLE MAKERS undermining the efforts of so many good LSU athletes committed to the team goal of winning a National Championship for LSU. I hope Coach Miles deals with this quickly and decisively for everyones sake. We don't need any distractions!

I dont see any sort of link between these 2 situations. The 1st incident was just questioning because he knew a friend of a friend but his name was the biggest so lets make a story out of nothing, IMO.

I have been caught at the boats many times in the past and nothing like this has ever happened. I wasnt caught most of the time either. Sounds like he got a strict cop. Either way it is a very minimal infraction and no way do I see going to a boat at the age of 20 a sign of bad behavior later on.

And for the record I do blame RP for making a mistake and agree he should keep his nose out of trouble and he will learn from this. But for a charge that is less offensive than a speeding ticket wont make me think he is a criminal. I have talked to him and he is far from dumb, what makes him a great football player is his confidence. This is a reason why I have all the faith in him to prove to everyone he is a good kid.
