If this was just a first time, isolated incidence, I think most CB football fans could understand this. But, at this point, it just seems like a pattern of behavior. If that federal investigation with the FBI wasn't able to scare him straight, what will? All throughout his life, he's probably been told that he could get away with stuff that others couldn't because he was such a great player. At this point, the only way, to get through his thick head that such behavior is no longer acceptable, is to actually suspend him where he can't play football games. For the sake of teaching this young man some life lessons, LSU should suspend him for the first few games of the season. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it wasn't like he was going to start those games anyway. The last thing LSU wants to become is another USC.

I continue to see this phrase and yet RP has been involved in 2 incidents (one of which is questionable since no charges were filed) and yet the number 2 rarely constitutes a pattern. Think about it. One of the most commonly understood patterns, a zig-zag, requires 3 actions. Without that 3rd, a zig-zag looks like..........>.

Patterns are most often and easily recognized in Computer Science, Art, Science & Math, Geometry, and even the Fibonacci number. They are least identifiable in human behavior because it's so abstract. And because it's human.....mutable, changeable, nonpredictable. RP has not engaged in a pattern of misbehavior. Questionable judgement yes.

bitter, if you apply your own theory then keep an eye on Jimmy. He is also someone who has had everything handed to him, has always been told he is better, has been led to believe that he can do no wrong. Based on those facts and his arrogant display when announcing his choice of college, he's headed for a BIG fall.

It wasn't Jones' car. Jones defense is that he was borrowing the car and that he wasn't aware that MJ was inside the car. According to sworn testimony in court by the car's owner, the owner let Jones borrow the car and that the MJ belongs to the car owner. Unless Jones is a smoker, he would never open the ashtray and thus discover the MJ. When you're in somebody else's car and you don't smoke, are you going to open up the ashtray?

So, with Jones, his charges were dropped whereas RP hasn't. You could make the argument that Jones happened to be a victim of bad luck, whereas RP clearly knew what he was doing was wrong when he tried to use another person's ID. Now, if there were other incidents with Jones, where let's say this wasn't the first time something like this happened where he claimed it wasn't his MJ but his friends', I'd say that he should be kicked off the team entirerly.

And it wasn't RP's $20, just something he unwittingly used without knowing it's origin. What's the difference? And as far as that goes, there were NO charges filed in the counterfeit situation so no charges were dropped, get it?

Honestly, if I'm borrowing someone's car I make it a point to know what is in it that I should know about so that these types of mishaps don't happen... and I'm not even a QB for a Div. 1 school, it's just that I don't like inconvenient surprises.

RP should have known better too.. especially in lieu of his being a "person of interest" in that other crap or whatever he was. Was it a boneheaded thing to do? Yep, probably so which is why CLM suspended him (which I agree with)... but I don't think there's any real danger in what happened other than discovering RP likes to take a chance...which may be good later at times.. :yelwink2: :yelwink2:

I didn't know if you wanted to be named so I'd refrained from crediting you- glad you liked the placement. lmao!

O.K. so he's not a doper, just hangs around with some. My father always told me to choose who I ran with carefully cause it's hard to hang with people and not do like them.

RP wasn't a victim of bad luck?? Someone gave him a cf $20.00 but the bill was discovered on one of his subsequent transactions???
