Great that you can post definitions, but try to see if you can post the context of which I was using the word.
Btw, are you going to the game tomorrow?

You said the invu was all softballs yet admitted you had only seen excerpts. Hoisted on your own petard.

I am hosting the regulars at Casa de SabanFan. Tigervision on one TV and USC/OSU on another. Anyone find themselves in Breaux Bridge, come on over. I'm still trying to figure out what to cook. I wish I could score some duck.

    I'll post a picture.

whats the difference between option 1 and option 4?

are you trying to dilute dissent?

im pretty neutral, drill if they want it wont make a big difference in the long run AND it wont have any effect for a long time. (states should be able to shut down the OCS though, you conservatives are all for states rights, right?)must seriously pursue alternative energy development. i fear the politicians are just providing lip service. the only reason i would oppose the extra drilling is if it will hinder alt energy development at all.

hey, maybe palin/mccain will take windfall taxes from big oil and use it for alt energy development.

for once i agree with mm except i got the sense that ol' charlie was trying for a ""gotcha" moment by trying to lead her down a path that i suspect he wouldn't lead obama

btw a college professor explained it this way: all means all and that's all all means! :)

Gibson is an experienced reporter and he didn't make it easy on Obama months ago either. He may not be the adversarial style of O'Rielly, but the interview was hardly softballs. Every question was a challenge of either her, her statements, or her qualifications. As it should be, imo. For what it's worth, I thought the O'Rielly/Obama interview was his toughest by far, and I was impressed with his performance. I don't know if he picked up any independent votes(polls don't show he has), but he didn't back down, and that should help him, imo.

The "drilling" bill put out by Polosi is a joke. It PERMANENTLY bans drilling within 50 miles of shore were 90% of the oil is located and does not give a dime of royalties to the states. It also continues to ban drilling in the eastern part of the Gulf of Mexico. This is the Democrat's idea of taking a new direction in energy production. It, in effect, continues the ban on drilling under the guise of allowing it. Talk about lipstick on a pig.
