63 views and only eleven people have voted? Are you guys serious? It's an anonymous poll my friends. Is the idea of drilling less important than where LSU is voted in the AP? Ok, that's a poor example, but please at least vote if you are going to view the thread.

Pelosi and the other democrats really did not have a lot of choice. The ban on offshore drilling is scheduled to expire soon. That left them with the option of opposing it and incurring the wrath of 65% of the voters just before the presidential and congressional elections or voting to allow for some drilling. I am very interested in seeing what the final bill looks like. I hope it does not have a poison pill, such as a windfall profits tax.

hey libs, dems, thinly veiled libs dressed up as moderates: Your fixation on Bush is going to cost you this election.

Why do democrats insist on snatching defeat from the jaws of victory????

 Keep telling yourself "It's not about Bush, It's not about Bush!"

I fully understand why you pretend that the Republican party of Bush is not the Republican party of McCain, but we are not fooled.

A shrewd choice of words. Reed the statement in context, if any symbolism is evident it is that the lipstick is Palin and the Pig is McCains policies.
