    Per veedo:

"Bo has not been at any job for more that two years".

Not to be a smartass, but he was with the 49's from 94-96(3 yrs.), the Pats from 97-99(3 yrs) & the Packers from 00-02(3 yrs.). I'm going to take a guess & say he'll be with LSU at least that long, unless a prime HC job is offered his way. JMO

it sure is amazing how some people project a coach leaving before being hired. Sure, coaches come and go, but let's focus on what we've got now. if we need to make changes down the road, then will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Very impressed witn assistant coaches. could be a national championship year this fall.

i wonder if one more person can mention how ridiculous they think it is to talk about a coach's possible replacement before he's even officially hired...

Since everyone is too busy bashing the thread, I'll go ahead and ask the real question:

Do any of you really think that Pelini will stay more than a couple of years?

    Probably not.

I really don't understand why ya'll are going so nuts over this thread. It's worth thinking about IMHO

I don't think it is really worth thinking about.

    1. All it does is make the guy feel unwelcome before he even gets here.

    2. It is not as if anyone on this board is going to have any say so at all in who is replacement would be if he does leave.

I bet if he started this thread by asking if anyone thought the hiring of Dunbar as an assistant HC as well as the Dline coach to work & learn under/with Pelini for a few years and in order to be the next DC it probably would have been better received. And I'm thinking that may just be the case.

Thanks FightinTiger. That was the point I was trying to get across. No disrespect to Qualey at all. Welcome to the board :thumb:

while we're splitting hairs, that's a pretty blanket statement. no one on this board is going to have any say so at all in anything concerning LSU sports. therefore, maybe we should all just keep quiet about anything over which we have no control (nevermind the fact that those actually in control never feel the need to discuss things).
