Thank you great swami for that oh so bold prediction. Are you willing to bet house and home on that one? This was our first game. Yes, the defensive scheme was HORRIBLE, but lets wait untill the UT game to make assumtions. Fact- This was our first game of the year under a brand new coaching staff, on the road, against a Top 25 opponent. Oh yea, BTW, the collective mood of an entire state is ridding on the outcome of this game. Fact- ASU had a tune up game, we did not. Fact- Our secondary sucked, but Sam Keller is a great QB. Some of those throws were just phenomenal. Fact- IF LSU goes undefeated all year, they WILL pass an undefeated Texas. Not only is our schedule 1,000 times better, we are the media darlings. On top of ALL THAT, the media WANTS a USC-LSU match up. They wanted it before all this. Fact- RP is our QB of the Future, but JR is our QB of NOW. Other than that fumble he played the game of his life. He made throws when he needed to to. When we play UT, if we can controll the tempo of the game a little more, I look for him to have a banner game that sets the tone for the rest of the season. Fact- Other than our WR (dropped passes) and our Secondary what REAL problems did we have? Lets face it. Save those two things we looked GREAT. Our offence was very effective on both fronts. We ran the ball at will and we FINNALY have a passing game that looks dependable. Our Run Defence gets an A. Our Line backers palyed pretty good as well. We have a lot to be proud of. Fact- Our ST is awsome. No explanation needed. Fact- Save maybe UF, ASU is the best passing team we will see during the regular season. Fact- Rick Clausen is not Sam Keller. The UT game will give us a VERY good idea of what kind of DC Pelini will be with us. I will refrain from critisizing him untill i see what changes he makes for the next game. Fact- LSU is 1-0 Fact- LSU is undefeated Fact-LSU is ranked third in the country. Fact- The world is not ending. Have faith is our coaching staff.
