You're right.. Archer lead us to a 10-1-1 season.

I agree on the Bianco deal.

Let me give you some facts here bud,

The following coaches are all undefeated at LSU
    Hal Mumme
    Larry Coker
    Rich Rodriguez
    Pete Carrol
    Tommy Tubberville
    Bobby Bowden

All those coaches combined have fewer lossed coaching at LSU than Les Miles had in his first two games as coach. Seems to me like we made a mistake.[/quote]

This argument is rediculous. First off i hope you are joking about your list cause these coaches are not all undefeated at LSU. Second how can you base how can a coach that with all the distractions last year held, having no open dates once they started playing and still go 11-2 be a wrong choice

LSU won the title with Marcus Spears, Michael Clayton, Matt Mauck, Marquis Hill, Jack Hunt, Devery Henderson, Rodney Reed, etc...

this was not the same team

And USC was the defending champs last year. Why is it that they beat almost everyone they played easily? B/c talent beats emotion. Sure, for a quarter or two, you can play with fire, but talent eventually prevails...

Based upon what? All I'm judging Miles on is his record at LSU, which is 11-2. 13 games played. 11 games won. Objective. Fact. Etched in granite. More subjective is his recruiting since he's been at LSU. I see no reason for gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands there. Give me sound reasoning why you think a mistake was made and I'll be happy to discuss further. If you are just worried that a mistake was made, based upon your irrational fear that Miles was a relative nobody, then say that.

I thought the sarcasm in my post was pretty evident, but I guess not. I was agreeing with you.

LSU did lose alot but USC didnt not beat everyone easily They were much much more talented than Notre Dame and even Texas USC should have lost both these games which would have given them the same record as LSU that year with one regular season loss and one bowl loss. In college football it is all about emotions and momentom. You dont honestly think that Ole Miss and Troy State had close to as much talent as LSU did do you?
