I didn't get high the first couple of times I smoked. I was waiting for the pink elephants and psychedelic lights or something, I just didn't realize how subtle it was. Then me and Jim got a 1-day suspension from 8th grade for dress code violations (long hair and sideburns) and we decided to go fishing. We smoked a big spliff and went to the A & P to get drinks and chips and we got separated. The buzz kind of crept up on me and I was walking along when Jim caught me by the arm and said "Be cool man!!!" "What do you mean?", says I. Jim said "You're walking up and down the aisles going "Wow . . . Wow . . . wow".
I haven't smoked anything that completely knocked me on my ass. I have smoked different grasses that gave me different highs. Some body highs some head highs. But.......... Eating marijuana..... that's a different story..... And if you eat it, pretty much all of the health issues that come along with it are eliminated.
There are few things in life more fun than smoking a blunt and going fishing. Life isn't nearly as fun when you have big brother and his hair test watching you. It's either a great job and hairtest, living straight as a board or smoke grass. When you have a handicaped kid and a wife that stays home with him it's not a choice. I must be straight. I do miss fishing and eating cheetos though. Life isn't nearly as fun for sure.
Well, here's to the good men and women who are working hard to reform such laws, and keep such things private. The crazy thing about weed is the effects last only a few hours, but it is very slow to leave your system.
So does vaporizing. Plus, it gives you something like 90-95% of the THC, whereas smoking only gives you, what, 40% or so? The only way to go, in my opinion. Combusting the grass will give you parts of the plant that you don't really need, and just serve to make you groggy. Vaping is a much cleaner, much stronger buzz.
