Les is being mentioned please read below:

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is likely to explore the college level as he begins his head-coaching search.

Schefter says LSU's Les Miles and Oklahoma's Bob Stoops could emerge as candidates. Bill Cowher and Jeff Fisher are also mentioned as "longshot" possibilities. Chargers defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, a proponent of the 3-4 defense, might be the early favorite.

I've said this in another post, Miles already coached for the Cowboys. He won't turn down 4+ million, IMO.

    Les Miles toi the Cowboys

I live in Dallas, as I was driving to work this morning the local sports radio station mentioed College coaches Jerry Jones was considering and they listed these 3 coaches......

    1. Bob Stoops
    2. Les Miles
    3. Pete Carrol

This was only speculation on the radio hosts' parts.... I hope they are off! Leave our coach alone!!!!!

There is already a thread on this. By the way, it ain't happening. JJ will probably go with a bigger name. That being said, he will want someone he can pull the puppet strings on.

I don't think that Miles will leave after he put a new staff in place.

But if he does do you think LSU puts Crowton in the HC position or do they try and search this late.

Cowher "technically" still belongs to the Steelers. No one in the NFL can hire him without sending something to Pittsburgh in return. I wouldn't put it past Jones to send some draft picks the Steelers' way, but if I had to guess, that's not gonna be his first choice.

Steelers hired 34 year old Mike Tomlin as their head coach so does that change the situation at all or things still the same?
