Re: Ponchos When I was growing up in Morganza (as 1 of 7 kids), going out to eat meant one of two things-driving to Opelousas for Pizza Hut or Baton Rouge to Pancho's. Good memories.
Re: Ponchos Fixed that for you. :hihi: They opened a new Pancho's in Metairie not too long ago. Haven't been to it yet though.
Re: Ponchos Ponchos rules the entire universe. The ultimate in stoner munchies. Back in the day we used to geaux there and eat two pans of those sour cream enchiladas, among other things. Ponchos was the first place I went to legally buy a beer when I turned 18. Course, I was hungry too.
Re: Ponchos panchos is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. a couple months back i went to phoenix and they have one there and i seeked that bitch out and went nuts on it. just as good as i remembered. when i was in high school and i first got my drivers license, i would stand up on the school bus and announce that when i got home i was driving to panchos, and anyone who wanted to be picked up should raise their hand. i would drive the whole bus route backwards picking up kids, and we would load up my car and just murder the buffet. it was fantastic. there are two places on earth that are so good that i vomited from eating too much there. panchos, and an incredible bbq buffet place in south carolina. i also vomit sometimes after eating rax roast beef and always after long john silvers, but for a different reason. cheese enchiladas with beans and rice, and flautas with some of the cheese from the enchiladas on them, thats what i am talking about.
Re: Ponchos BURRRRRFFFFFF!!!!! As much as I don't enjoy doing it, I LOVE the word vomit. Puke is cool, but vomit is the bomb it. :thumb:
Re: Ponchos Pancho's=VOMIT Once, after a night of drinking I stopped at the Pancho's on Nicholson and pigged out. I was lucky to make it outside before I emptied the contents of my stomach in the parking lot. Are you sure that Pancho's belongs in the "good" eats section?
Re: Ponchos The Pancho's in Bossier City is still open as far as I know. It's my main lunch stop when I pass through town.
