Totally agree, I said this in the other thread but these announcers made this game much worse than it was in the 1st half.
The color commentator wasn't much better. I specifically remember him commenting on one of Flynn's completions that he had so much time in the pocket.....right as he was getting crushed by a defender after throwing it.
I do not chime in here much, but I can not hold out on this one. That commentator was the worst I have heard in my 30+ years of watching college football. I am so happy Houston has a radio station part of the LSU network, because I hit the mute button on TV and turned up Hawthorne. Not trying to be sexist, but women should not be calling football games. I had two women at my house today that agreed 100% with me. Then again, my wife thought it was a guy with a high voice calling the game.
I don't understand when or why woman started being sports announcers for football. They need to stick with tennis. I am not anti woman but this is a growing trend. I can't stand it. Even my wife says they suck. NCAA needs to make a rule that allows fans to screen the announcers with appearance being top priority. Also, if they issist on being a sports announcer for a mans sport then they have to wear a bikini while working. That would be awsome. Then it would be sort of like a SNL skit. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: Oh wait nevermind, it is pretty close to that now.
Didn't some of this start when it was ruled that women should have access to the locker rooms? The whole team should "flash" them... BTW-------- Is Pam Ward's middle name "NINTH?"
How can she keep her gig..... I would hate to hear her end of season review from her boss... Well Pam, you were able to get your name correct and that is about it! :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
