I think that can be said about both, as well, but I agree.

I never saw anyone here defending BET, Telemundo, TV-1, or whatever that other hispanic station is. I've been watching a bit of CNN and FOX. FOX is definitely skewed but an occasional tidbit of intelligence can be gleaned. It seems CNN gives a couple more tidbits, as they were pretty complimentary after Palin's speech for a couple minutes, but then the liberal BS started spewing. FOX totally dismissed Obama's speech right away. I thought both speeches were pretty good for what they were. I'm still with Ron Paul in that most of both are hot air and promises of more government.

Because they are indefensible. Obama is their candidate and they make no bones about it.

I think FOX's pick is pretty clear as well, they just take a different tact.

As far as BET and the rest, so? If they get federal funds, maybe some or all of it should be stripped. Otherwise, ...BREAKING NEWS!!!... TV is almost fully BS.

You act as if those network are real journalistic networks, I rarely watch BET, I watch TV1 to watch the reruns of Martin and a few other shows that are in syndication. Hell I dont turn to those networks for politics or news. They already have a ethnic slant to begin with just from the names of the networks.
Something you shouldnt even take seriously.

Bush's side and Cheney's side? FOX was trashing Obama's speech right away, carrying the party line, despite most unbiased observers thinking it was pretty strong. I wouldn't dare accuse you of being unbiased, so I suppose I shouldn't be shocked that you believe FOX delivers both sides of the story.

Maybe you should watch it more before giving an uninformed opinion.

Well that's a good point, but why even show political conventions if you are an entertainment network? And if you are going to broadcast them, be even handed about it. That wouldn't have happened under the fairness doctrine.

Edit: The main point to be taken from my original post is that Obama's numbers were higher only because there were 4 additional networks showing the speech.

    Palin WINS! Palin WINS!
