That's funny, so are most my personal spending cut plans.

The next Prez is going to inherit such a mess that I doubt if any of their campaign plans would survive the first budget cycle.

Yea, don't waste your time trying to talk sense to the Obama, Pelosi, Reid a$$ kissers on this board. Obama will be a HORRIBLE president and these people would never admit it. I think I will quit my job wednesday so i can start receiving handouts. :hihi:

I think you should, too. Then your education wil begin. You'll discover that all the things the republicans told you aren't true. One doesn't qualify for public assistance by quitting his job.

Gotta agree with Parso, Mastermind, and others on this. It is a black mark on Palin as far as I'm concerned. What she should have done was renogiated royalties or the state position to get more money, not just tax them when they make too much. I think a few of you guys have your red elephant glasses. It's a strike against palin, but not the end of the world. Remember, she's a VP, Obama's running as president.

Fixed that for you. Don't want you to become another Red, thinking your way is always the right way.

I've known people from Alaska for years, long before MP was the gov there. They have ALWAYS gotten a check every year. This isn't something that she started up on her own. Alaskan residents have had this thing going for a long time.

I've even know people that changed their residency to Alaska so they can get said check.

Give me a break. Of course it's my opinion, it's politics there is no clear cut right and wrong, just plans for the future of the country.

But when the oil companies started making record profits, she increased their taxes to increase the checks. That's what we're discussing, not the implementation of the plan.
