Flabengal, from someone who gets hammered in here on a regular basis, some advice, it doesn't help when you think everything is a conspiracy. The birther thing is ridiculous. The 9/11 stuff is interesting, yet, I think it's been debunked numerous times. This thing with Osama, hmmm, interesting, and I would like to see the body, but what's that gonna prove? Nothing is ever going to quench the thirst of the conspiracy theorist, short of someone coming out and just saying that you were right about everything.
There's a medical term for it (although I'm not sure what the term is). Anyone who deviates from societal norms and has these grandiose ideas about how everything is a conspiracy is probably, on some level, paranoid in their day to day activities. You should probably relax and just conform to the norms of society and just kinda go with the flow....even if that's what "they" want......your quality of life may increase sevenfold. Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that you are right (which you ain't)......you can't do sh*t about it anyway....so you may as well just kick back and enjoy the ride. Shhhhh!!!!!!! Here they come......
The problem is that the government is giving them credibility by taking steps to prempt conspiracy theories. For instance, they took several pictures of OBL's body and are checking to see which one looks more like him before releasing it.

About the birther thing....I'm of the opinion that Obama has been elected president so that's enough for me. I don't really care if he was born in Hawaii or Kenya or wherever. If don't think they rigged the election or anything. He legitimately President so that's fine with me. I do think it is odd he took so long to release his birth certificate. I've had to produce my birth certificate plenty of times and I just go get the damn thing and show it to whoever asked for it. It's not a big deal to show someone your birth certificate. About Bin Laden....the strangest thing to me is that they made no attempt to capture him alive, apparently. Don't they have methods that at least give them a chance to capture a target alive? Would have been nice to ask him some questions and have some photo ops of him in handcuffs, etc. The burial at sea also seems odd. When is the last time they did that? Is that standard procedure or something?
fla used to be the official abbreviation for florida. I'm just showing my age. I can't remember when they changed it to FL.....but I was used to using fla.
