If a team is winning and the fans support them, they're cocky. If a team is losing and they support them, they're hardcore. I suppose it's easier for the Pac-10 to have better fans.
It's called sarcasm. Husky stadium is one of the coldest places to see a game in the Pac but also has a spectacular setting. I'll be making the trek to Seattle as I have before and no I don't care about seeing the view. And for the record I don't eat sushi, never have, never will although I'm sure Seattle has some great sushi and seafood restaurants.
There are still some individual seat tickets at face value ($45) available for Idaho, Stanford, and Washington State. And of course, brokers have seats available for big $$. The entire allotment for away tickets has been sold out for some time. This year only the upper tier support group members had tickets made available for Nebraska, nd, Washington, kal, and Oregon. Only Arizona State was opened to season ticket holders. I feel your pain red. I sat through the 90's under the coach that shall remain nameless and several straight losing seasons including a few when USC finished dead last and was a joke. It was a decade that included the bulk of notre dame's 13 year win streak and utla's 8 game win streak. And you're right the attendance was in the mid to upper 50k's. Southern California is a town of bandwaggon fans, many of whom are leftover Raider fans with no team to support (or they're soccer fans) so they go with whoever is winning. If having a full stadium even through the bad years makes you better fans, then ya'll win. :thumb:
There are great views of the water and Mt Ranier from nearly all angles including the drive in. Only one area has their back to the water so it was tongue in cheek for me to complain about not seeing it. For me, I like to appreciate what each venue has, not what it's lacking. On the opposite end of the visual spectrum is Arizona State. Visitor seats are lousy but the views of the desert are unmatched.
