I don't think so. The majority of people state that Miles has done a great job with the cards he's been dealt. Most people believe it is to soon to judge the man on his coaching abilities. Most people will point at the areas that we need improvement and voice legitimate concerns. They do this without bashing the coach or the players. Most people are overjoyed that we are going to Atlanta and are 10-1.

A few on here are still bitter that Saban left. A few want to blame Miles for every shortcoming this year. A few believe that we should win every game by 30 points. Never mind the fact that we win the games. A few will not be happy unless the coach is fired and all of the starters are benched. A few are just waiting for another loss so they can come on here and yell, I told you so. A few on here act like 10 year olds.

The guy sitting in front of me spent the whole game screaming "Bowe you suck!" "Get Russell out of there!" "Miles wtf are you doing!", etc. I couldnt help but wonder what his screen name was.

That's quite a good summary of the fans reaction. Like politics, there's always a bell curve with the majority being moderates and extremes at either end.

If this team is what other posters have said in the past....playing to the level of their opponents, we should expect a real game with the SECCG.:thumb: (And pleeeeasssseeeee, no more nailbiters It's has been an awefully stressful season with too many close ones, starting with the Katrina disaster)

It's a conspiracy. Skip want to still be able to sell concessions in the 4th qtr. LSU didn't make any money late in the North Texas game, so he passed a new rule for the football team."Keep it close all game long> Try to wait and win on the last play of the game.":hihi:

I am completely OK with that fact. I would just like LSU to look like it is actually improving. The thing about both the '01 and '03 teams is that they improved as the season went along. This year the defense has improved as the season wore on - whereas the offense has never seemed to get over the hump. I know before you say it, the offense under Saban never improved either last year. I am in no way trying to compare him to Saban. I am taking it solely based on this year. It finally looked like maybe just maybe the offense had turned the corner against Ole Miss and then it plays so poorly yesterday.

I think that is again the problem with inconsistency. The common denominator seems to be the offense players and Jimbo! Does that mean Jimbo and/or the players are the "culprit"? But, no question, JR definitely has improved, but still needs to grow with quicker decisions on throwing the ball and none of those dive-to-the-ground balls.

Here's my prediction: Nobody...not USC, not Texas and especially not Georgia...wants to take the field against these Tigers next week.
