Overall I thought it was a hell of a SEC game

Your defense doesn't suck. We are a little bit better than we were last year, you lost a few defensive leaders from last year, and the game was in Auburn instead of Baton Rouge. That's the difference. But you guys did not go from having a great defense last year to sucking because you lost 10-9 to a top-15 team and SEC opponent.

Going into this game, Ronnie Brown was the RB who scared me--a tough runner who fights for every yard. We have Caddy's number.

I guess I am most disappointed in Justin Vincent. He hasn't shown me anything yet this year. The lack of a consistent passing game hurt us today, but I would have liked to see more of Broussard. The recievers also didn't show much, but we are extremely young there. Where is XC's speed?

Overall, a classic--one we will have to watch over and over again. But the program is going in the right direction and will become a fixture in the top 10--Believe it.

Exactly. The game is deeper than the surface stats anyway, it was a struggle from the start (for both teams). O production isn't automatic, meaning you can't just throw fades all night because you have fast WRs . . . you have to follow your game plan and try to find things that work and control the ball when you are leading. Russell was having trouble passing tonight, either the ball was behind the WRs or too low . . . he is young so that stuff will improve in time. I don't blame anyone for it, it just happens sometimes.
