When was the last time LSU had a high draft pick at o line? I can't remember? Wasn't there a tackle a few years ago? Other than that, who else?

    Edited to add:
Pocic in the 2nd in 17
Turner in the 3rd in 14
Barksdale in the 3rd in 11
3 years since 2011 with no o-linemen drafted, all in the late rounds of the other years

Not enough talent on the o-line...

The last LSU o-lineman drafted in the first round

I will quote myself here to respond with:
Alabama has only had 6 in the first 3 rounds since 2011. So maybe it isn't that bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but O linemen aren't typically drafted in the first round are they?

Coach O is addressing Offensive line depth in recruiting now.

It really showed tonight how bad it is and what they have been winning with.

Have hope Kardell is coming next year to lead these guys.

Maybe Coach Cregg needs to be examined this off season...

Devin White missing for a half really hurt too..

Alabama is the National Champs. That hurts to say.

At least tampons can stop or slow down the Crimson Tide last night the o-line could not even do that.

Was the OL weak? yes it was I wonder if as much as anything we need a better strength and conditioning coach. I know it’s heresy but I saw Alabama players run through our tackles, make sure one armed tackles etc. it speaks more of being stronger than anything IMO.
We’ve had several OL coaches multiple OCs etc. what hasn’t changed is the the Alabama players are stronger than the Tigers.

There can be no doubt about it, we will never develop a Bama worthy offense with a pathetic OL.

We had no run game, we had no pass game. Kinda hard to call an offensive scheme when you don’t have any choices. Peeps were saying Burrow needed to stay, step and throw .... but that usually ended in a sack last night.

The concern with the O line here is like a hangover. You wake up feel horrible promise ‘never again’ and next party once again you don’t learn your lesson.
Running the ball and pass blocking vs the lesser opponents doesn’t prove squat.
UNLESS the goal is 9-3 and a worthless Florida Jerk Off Bowl
Otherwise enough bitching about playcalling and qb’s.
    Fix the fucking o line.
In other news - might help to lock the door on the state in February. A lot of Louisianians running around in Crimson last night.

We have commitments in the upcoming recruiting class for a 5-star and 2 4-star linemen. We aren't in the running for any more lineman of consequence in this class. But we've got to have - at minimum - that kind of oline impact in every class.
