it matters because if they were truly worried about their religion they wouldn't be killing Muslims. The Quran is explicit that they killing of other Muslims is cardinal. I say it to show you that they people could care less about religion unless it is to justify their murdering and atrocities

No, showing leadership means putting things in perspective. And by the way when he refers to Christians you will notice he says "we" and "I." I don't get why you can't seem to understand that the President was in no way demeaning Christianity. For God's sake the man is a Christian. He is equivocating that there have been other instances where smaller sects of a religion killed in it's name, but were never reflective of the entirety. At least they forbid something bad in the Quran. You quoting or explaining things like the Quran is pointless. That book, like the bible is just a collection of useless words. Yet, people take its meaning and live life accordingly. Both good and bad. We recognize the good as "see this is what it means", but ignore the awful bad as "no they must just be crazy or something". Meanwhile, eternal life and virgins await.
we've already established that all religion has it's nuts, that's what the President was saying. why you have a problem with it, I'm still not sure.....this shouldn't be controversial....especially to someone who claims no religion
