The next day I say where you had deleted it. What is wrong with this? I only posted it because I thought OU fans would find it amusing. I would have expected it to be deleted from a Longhorns forum but not an Oklahoma forum. By the way, Tigerforums is "not like the public forums with banners and ads and such" either. Yet tigerforums is far more successful than your own little internet niche. Could the reason for that be that the admins and moderators are much less prone to arbitrary control of what is posted? Smack against other coaches is not allowed on our forum. Specific criticism is one thing, as long as it is not mean spirited. You can say that Mack is not a great game-day coach, but you cannot say he sucks big time in big games, for example. I prefer that the Longhorn fans not even do that. Sometimes it slips by, but we really do not allow other fans to do it. I would never allow anyone to ridicule Nick Saban in such a way.
It's an interesting study in fan psychology. I can almost guarantee you, that if LSU had laid down for their team the way they expected them to, instead of hearing all the griping and complaining about how barbaric the LSU fans are, we'd be hearing all about what a beautiful city New Orleans is, and what gracious fans LSU has.
Plain and simple... Oklahoma wasn't good enough to win their own conference. They weren't good enough to win the National Championship. If you think 2 straight losses, playing the way OU played was a fluke, you've been dropped on your head too many times. Ramah will back me up on this... OU will not win the Big 12 next year. They will be, at best, 8 - 4, but I'm thinking more along the lines of 7 - 5.
