You know why is it that these fans from other teams who come on this board and say "oh yes it did happen" never seem to have pictures? they bring the cameras to the game. I've seen them. Proof would be soo much more credible. Anyone can go to another board and say this or that happened. Hell I wrestled aligators when I was young, didn't all cajuns? Where's your Proof, Got Pics? I didn't think so. file your complaints in file 13, that's about how much attention they deserve.
Any time you want to check out what our opponents think or thought about our game, just go to the Auburn board and you WILL find a link from those s%*T starters from AU. This same thread has been on AU boards for a while. Hey Sooner, anytime you are in another teams town and severely outnumbered you will get f...ed with in some fashion you dont like. Hell, we had AZ fans yelling F you LSU at us in Tucson and the same at Ole Miss and a few others we went on the road this year. I think its more of the Sooners not having a clue of how passionate the Tiger fans are for LSU that they were blown away. There is no other fan base in the country that brings the electricity to a game like our fans, this you now know. Sorry your folks had a bad time, but from what I saw before the dome opened at 4pm, most OK fans stayed across poydras and looked frightened or shocked at the scene unfolding. When they found out the dome had opened up, they came in droves to get in as fast as they could. We do it with alot more enthusiasm in the SEC, thats why every little thing a Tiger fan would do seemed like a taunt or threat.
I was on Bourbon for 3 nights in a row, and I never witnessed beer being poured on body, and rest assured I would have had a word with that LSU fan. Also, I didn't see any fights whatsoever, so for the most part fans were in harmony. i'm not saying it happened, but I think some people are overreacting. Lets say this, it was better than when Auburn comes to town, believe me. A lot of Okie fans were dull and non engaging for the most part, but not as bad as the Texas fans, thus fights were way down. Also you think we had rioted that night and destroyed the French Quarter.
When I got on my connecting flight in Charlotte from Cincinnati there were a LOT of OU fans. I had on my LSU Sugar Bowl National Championship shirt on and attempted to engage in some kind of "hey, how 'ya doin, should be a great game, etc'. They LAUGHED! at me. It was like they were looking at someone who did not know who they were talking to! I am born and raised in Louisiana and thats my nature. I didn't tell them what they were about to encounter ( I knew we would win ) I just wanted them to have a great time in my home state. I did not witness ANY OU fan abuse while I was there. Their arrogance precedes their pride. BTW on the walk through the N.O. airport the next day not ONE OU fan would look me in the eye and say "good game" NOT ONE! I was wearing my obvious colors,so I think maybe they don't have the class they think they do. At least SEC rivals respect each other enough to say "good game" afterwards. You OU people need to get over it! You did NOT win, all your players awards mean NOTHING, and there is a new kid on the block. Believe me, Miama,FLA. ain't gonna be any kinder if you guys ass back into that one like you did this one. Hope to see you next Jan.
I was alll over the Quarter before the game, and believe me, they were having a good time in all the local spots. Sour grapes.

Every OCT the Dallas area has to put up with the southern migration of the sooners and trust me it is not always a pretty sight. I also get the "gift"of going to OK a few times a year and maybe the Sooners with class "could do a better job of policing those who don't." I am not going to throw in the stories I heard about OU fans down in New Orleans, because I was not there. Is it (OU/OK) all bad? No, really it is mostly good, but OU/OK does not have any moral high ground to be talking about the class of LSU fans or New Orleans. Even if these are facts as you say this kind of stuff happens at every big event. If you want PG13 behavior I do not think the french quarter or Bourbon street around New Years and the Sugar Bowl is the place to be. Between their fan behavior talk and now their spy talk I really think they know people are not going to be in fear of them any longer and cannot handle it.
Oklahoma is a delusional State..I lived there for 8 long years. I mistakenly took a company promo that took me to Tulsa. It's the Okie mindset, they love to preach, they have thin skin, are whiney, love to make excuses for everything, and are very judgemental. They think Oklahoma is the greatest state to live in with all of it's Churches and Indians.....LOL Oklahoma ranks last in almost everything yet they want to knock Louisiana. Trust me, I don't care what they think about LSU fans and New Orleans. I don't give a rat's azz. I am not trying to make friends with these Bible Belt idiots. All I care about is what happens on the football field and that we win the NC again next year. Hopefully it's against SLO U again. GEAUX TIGERS!
My experience was similar to the above poster who stated OU fans were very obnoxious on plane to NO. They were also obnoxious on the Thursday and Friday prior to the game (as they outnumbered LSU fans). Their eyes were as big as their stomachs (big feat) come Sat and Sunday. Kept their mouths shut once outnumbered (did open to eat). Their comments on the boards are typical of people in that part of the country. Spying. Mistreatment. Defined "country come to town". However, I did engage in a lot of spirited yet respectful debate..and they do have a lot of pride in their team. I swear I heard this and cracked up..... Okie and his wife tried to walk into Galatroire's (jacket required)...when told this...he looked at his wife and said "Like hell if I'm going to wear a jacket here If I don't have to wear one at Ryan's steakhouse" He wasn't kidding brotha. Between all of their stories of LSU fans raping senior citizens and forcing OU teenagers into white slavery, I wonder if they are sharing stories of those of us who guided their fans away from the high crime areas (where the cops won't even go)..and advised them not to walk to the Days Inn (north of Rampart) at night (and led them to safe areas despite it being out of the way.)
I believe it, Okies know nothing about fine dining Most Okies wear clothes purchased from Walmart and think fine dining is a night out at Bennigans. I am serious. Fine dining rarely thrives in Oklahoma. These are some chicken fried steak eating fools. Okies only experience with seafood is Catfish....LMAO
