good grief! first pitch to ole miss and line drive...this could be another extra inning game! HI TB3, glad you could join us!!! Whose azz you kicking and whose names you taking? Miked, what are the times of the games tomorrow and saturday?
my own ass and my name. ive already goen to sleep tonight (power nap) and i am heading out in a bit. its like those times you see the sun come up and all those thoughts race through your mind like wow, my dad is getting up to go to work now. well, im having these thoughts at midnight, but now the student plays the teacher.
Ole Miss wins with a two run walk off homer in the bottom of the 9th! The crowd is loud! Izzy says that we would rather play them then Kentucky so I will take it!
I didn’t realize, LSU has been the only higher seed to have won a game. Wow! Friday, May 23 G9 - South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt 3 p.m./FSN HD G10 - Alabama vs. Kentucky 6:30 p.m./FSN HD Saturday, May 24 G11 - Ole Miss vs. Winner G9 10 a.m./FSN HD G12 - LSU vs. Winner G10 1 p.m./FSN HD G13* - Winner G11 vs. Loser G11 5 p.m./CSS HD G14* - Winner G12 vs. Loser G12 8 p.m./CSS HD (and maybe Cox Sports, but hopefully no game at all!!!) Sunday, May 25 G15* - Winner G13 vs. Winner G14 3 p.m./FSN HD * - If both bracket winners are undefeated, there will be no 5 p.m. or 8 p.m. games on Saturday and the championship game Sunday would be Game 13.
I think there is something wrong with that bracket because unless they have changed the format we will play the winner of the game that is already on our side of the bracket. So Vandy or USCe. Not sure though, earlier in the day it said in the notes of our game like I said, now it is saying we play the winner of UM/Kentucky on Saturday morning. I don't think the people running the secsports website right now have there act together.
I added a note explaining that games 13 and 14 may not be needed. I'm hoping for no game 14 in a big way LSU! I don't know the details, but the bracket format has been changed. The undefeated teams switch sides of the bracket, the idea being that nobody will have to potentially play each other 3 times during the tournament.
