tOSU says they will use both QBs today . . . at the same time. Curious to see how that might work, should they choose to go that route. I hear LSU will maybe to the same with Jefferson and Shepard next year with Shepard sometimes getting a direct snap and running, or sometimes getting it and throwing it, or sometimes not getting it at all and opening everything up down the field for Jefferson.
i was thinking about this the other day but not sure if its been mentioned. how much credit goes to crowton and miles for JJ looking poised as a 5th yr sr in the PEACH bowl. how much is just innate. TP seems to have it. Im not sure its because of the coaches. i guess you can only credit the coaches for having him prepared. the rest is on him. its my thread, I can hijack it if i want.
it's innate. The coaches didn't coach Jefferson any better than they did Jarrett Lee. Some kids just are cooler when the pocket breaks down and there are 6-7 guys running at you and some kids break and throw it into coverage.
If he was in his junior year and finally starting, I think you could credit that to coaching, especially if you hadn't seen him before, but just a couple of months after getting out of high school? No. That credit goes to the player, imo.
