Banks is 6'1", 200LB, former 4* prospect out of Florida. Started 15 games for the Buckeyes from 2019-2021, and logged over 1000 snaps in his career. Has one year of eligibility left due to the covid year. Has battled injuries over his career, so while there are some questions about his durability, he will be a quality, experienced player at a position of desperate need.
I remember this kid coming out of high school. He was the real deal and pretty much could have gone anywhere he wanted. Injuries are a concern, but I agree with you in that he brings a lot of experience to the table and he's gone against great competition every day in practice and on Saturday afternoons, which is a huge plus.
