Understood. But my poll isn't asking anyone to "predict" who they think will make it, but under hypotheticals what do you think is most fair.
I just don't know at this early juncture. For example, if Arkansas beats LSU and Florida handily, they should be in over the others. If Florida crushes Arkansas, it depends on USC. If USC wins out, I give them the edge other than the aforementioned scenarios. If all else fails, roll with Michigan. ND does not deserve a sniff of this game. Perhaps they should have schedule the Coast Guard Academy as a capstone to their "We hate the Armed Services" season.
If Florida wins out, they should get the shot at the title no matter what cause their only loss was at AU. But if USC wins out and Ark beats UF, then USC should get the shot cuz they beat Ark.
I don't agree on a team from a conference that does not play a conference championship game getting in the big game,aka. usc,nd,ec.
