Cutcliff had it all over Stovall. Under Stovall LSU went 7 wins, 3 wins, 8 wins, and 4 wins. Stovall was 2-2 against Tulane and his "signature win", 1982 against the Bear, wasn't really that huge when looking at how 'Bama finished the year. Cutcliff had Ole Miss (OLE MISS, mind you) on the verge of actually playing in Atlanta and who knows from there. Cutcliff was able to bring a few quality QB's from Louisiana (Eli would have started at LSU and Lane probably would have seen significant playing time in last years QB circus).

Cutcliff was as close to a Saban as you'll see at Ole Miss. Cut's going to take the Kentucky job after this season and the 'Cats will be a threat to all shortly there after.

Can't think of a better place for O and his coaches to be recruiting, the New Orleans area. Their normal conduct fares well there, it doesn't anywhere else. How many of his staff has been arrested thus far?

What we expect him to say? How about nothing until he actually COACHES a damn game?

By the way Goober, LSU had 5 straight winning seasons under Saban and 3 under Dinardo for 8 winning seasons and 8 bowl games in the last 10 years. That includes 3 seasons of 10 wins or better; 2 SEC Championships; 2 BCS Bowls; 4 New Years Day Bowls; 6 bowl wins in the last 8 bowls; and
1 National Championship. That's a damn site better than "four good years" that you Ole Miss retards always try to use to downplay LSU's true level of success.

You guys have hired an idiot for a head coach and that fact will become apparent to even you most delusional Ole Miss fans soon enough. So let that loud mouth joke of a head coach talk all he wants because he will be shut up
as soon as he sends his "Wild Boys" out on the field and they discover that all
the bluster and big talk is just so much bull****. Orgeron is a clown and Ole Miss is the Circus.

actually we need to worry less about what orgeron says ands more about where he recruits. WE should be recruiting his back yard. There is excellent talent in the Memphis, North MS High schools, don't kid yourself.

if you think otherwise just take a look at the top 5A high school teams in the nation and state. Include Louisiana if you want. We need to do EXACTLY what he says he is going to do, except not brag about it.

Well, 8 of the top 12 in Mississippi weren't elligible last year....

You can't recruit Mississippi that much because the academic casualty rate for the better players is at an all-time high. there were many newspaper articles written about this situation in Mississippi last year and Sylvester Croom was very concerned about it and expessed his concerns in several articles.

Orgeron has to try to go out of state becuase Mississippi doesn't produce the
numbers of players who are SEC caliber and elligible to support USM, State,
and Ole Miss. Orgeron isn't a major concern of mine and Doubt he worries too many LSU fans. He may get a kid here or there but for the most part the better Louisiana recruits aren't going to really seriosly consider Ole Miss. If they do choose to leave the state, most top Louisiana players have much better options than Oxford, Mississippi. That's just the way it is.

We do cherry pick the state of Miss and take many of the players we want out of there. And as Stripes says, their high schools are not producing kids that will be eligigble. The articles written in the past year are mind boggling as to how many of their top players will not make it to a D-1 school.

If you look back a little further in this thread, you will see that I "copied" that spelling from one of your present LSU students who had posted his comments. :) Personally, I thought the word was HIRED.
