A little Tabasco and crow is almost editable guys. I saw all I needed to see about E in 2016 just need a QB and I believe it's Jeaux.
So you enjoy watching the LSU defense do everything to win against Bama while the Offense shits the bed?
Not counting the most important game in the LSU program... under Miles, several times in the regular season, the offense did what it had to do to beat Bama, it was the 3rd and Chavis that killed us.
New team, different QB's, better recievers and more of em and most importantly E now IS the full time OC and can install HIS offense. How do you think Utah and Ole Miss beat Bama a while back? A commitment to a wide open passing attack. That is how Utah and Ole Miss beat Bama and what I believe O and E are working on. Not saying we can beat them this year but who in the hell has lately? If you are judging our coaches on beating Bama right out of the box you are dreaming my friend.
Several? OK lets see, Les Miles vs Bama from 2011: Offensive yards: Game 1 2011: 239 total yards Game 2 2001: 92 total yards 2012: 435 - Our D gave up 331..... 2013: 284 - D gave up 372 2014: 259 - D gave up 315 2015: 182 - D gave up 434 Prior to that? We won in 2010 and 2007. We lost the rest. With O: 2016: 125 - D gave up 323 2017: 306 - D gave up 299 I dont know what you consider several, but in all the losses, 2012 was the only that you would have a point and we turned the ball over in that game. It wasn't on the D as much as people say. If anything the stats are pretty close most years with failure to score in redzone and turnovers being costly. Like it is with most elite teams. You have to beat them. Not yourself.
We also won in 2011... 9-6. I'm not talking about total yards. I am talking about the number of times LSU had a lead going into either the 4th quarter, or the last drive... and 3rd and Chavis showed up. LSU under Miles had the offense a few times to beat bama, the defense under Chavis just sucked too much.
I never said we didn't. I said, "prior to that" meaning prior to 2011....I mean if your point is we won with only getting 239 yards of offense as a success, then I would point more towards the justification for firing Miles. Outside of that, I didn't select O and Alleva is the one to blame. I dont blame someone saying they can do a job when they cant. Hell, in life you take risks. Its not O's fault Joe is a dumbass. I generally don't think O is as bad as people say. Based on the numbers, LSU stayed flat. If anything, I like is recruitment style better as his focus is on the Lines.
