Or they could just start talking hoops.

I usually just end up asking them when is the last time they won a championship. I refuse to say anything else until they tell me. It works.

This will sound dirty, but I'm not a LSU basketball fan. From before I knew anything about basketball I followed UNC basketball (thanks to Jordan).

I have a buddy who is the same. He is UNC basketball and LSU everything else.

Plano, Texas, is an amazing melting pot. On my street alone, there are Longhorns, Aggies, Irish, Buckeyes, 15 Chinese families who don't give a shit about football, Razorbacks, Red Raiders, Baylor Bears, and my LSU house. Shit stirrers are around every corner here.

Are we friends? lol because that sounds like me. I even got into baseball. That and as long as it's not against UNC, I'll cheer for LSU basketball. And given a choice I'm going to Baton Rouge over Chapel Hill for my masters/doctorate.

When I first got to Dallas, I was surprised how many OU alums/fans were here. Saw a ton of OU flags in front of houses and OU bumper stickers in north Dallas.
