1. The BCS was created to match the top two teams in the country because in most cases they haven't met on the field.

In the AP national championship years, there were always those years where the final 2 teams with similar records never played each other and there were always doubters complaining that the two never had a chance to play so we'll never know who the real #1 is.

LSU has settled that. We played Oregon on the road and beat them straight up and it wasn't even close. We played Alabama on the road and beat them too. Those questions have been answered.

If LSU takes care of it's business and is still #1 after the SECCG, the only question voters should ask is which of the 1 loss teams that hasn't already lost to LSU should play them in the BCSNCG.

What LSU has done and the teams they have beaten to get this far is amazing and no other team comes close.
  2. There's been controversies dam near every year. Be glad we're even in the discussion much less "picking" our opponent.
  3. LSU and it's fans have gotten to the point where we're no longer just satisfied with being in the discussion. We've proven it on the field.
  4. Fo' schizzle! Just so we do our part and clear out the rest of our schedule!
I do not want to see us sleepwalking as we did last week against a rent-a-win team!

    I say again: "Legendary.....Epic.....Season"

    Let's look the part.

  5. Sounds like a personal problem.
  6. Your need to play village instigator sounds like a personal problem.

We get it. Someone says the sky is blue and you disagree. Soneone says water is wet and you disagree.

What is it about a grown man who comes onto a forum not for legitimate discussion with fellow fans but to poke and instigate arguments? Pretty sad buddy.
  7. "Someone".

Tell me how to "legitimately discuss" an opinion that "Oregon and Alabama should be disqualified from playing for the title". That's such a laughable statement to me. Some may agree but I surely don't.

You said "the BCS was created to match the two best teams in the country" THEN go on to say, "the only question voters should ask is which of the 1 loss teams that hasn't already lost to LSU should play them in the BCSNCG." Gimme a break.
  8. You're the one pontificating and not discussing...

  9. With OkSU losing to Iowa State, I dont think Okl could jump to the #2 spot. And Im sure OkSU will fall significantly. That leaves Ala and Ore. We've beaten them both already - after the SECCG maybe we should just be declared #1 and let Ala and Ore play for #2! All kidding aside, I think Ore still could lose and I dont think Ala will - only 2 weak teams left to play. Amazing how you can lose the "game of the century" at your home and still get to play that same team for the BCSNC (assuming we win out). Makes the "game of the century" almost meaningless. I guess the next "game of the 'century' " is only a couple of months down the road.

But I do know this. Whoever shows up in New Orleans will have more than their hands full with this team. GEAUX TIGERS!!
  10. Top 2 ranked teams. Period. Doesn't matter if they have played twice already.
