Beck is a male. He can call himself a woman and you can call him a woman.....he's still a man. And more importantly, he transitioned AFTER his service to ST6.

There should be no additional cost to taxpayers for related mental or behavioral health treatment or meds. Surgery for transitioning should not be picked up by the taxpayers. The point behind college was that it benefited society, helped with long term military career goals and not just benefit for the individual.

Were you aware that the military does not cover infertility treatment or meds? If they won't pay for a couple to get medical treatment for aiding in conception, then there should be NO way they pay for any gender-related issues.

FYI, only 6% of all applicants meet requirements for becoming a SEAL. Of those, only 1 in 4 end up completing BUDS and become SEALs. IMO, a woman will never pass C-SORT.

 

The military is primarily a killing unit, not a socio-behavioral petri dish. For those of you hating on Trump for this decision, you should have been taking Obama to task for encouraging this policy in the first place because his goal always was to weaken the military. One only need look at the leaders he put in place in 8 years.

Seriously.....Obama's comment a couple years ago that gays and TG's should be able to do what everyone else does but then apply that to the military is laughable. The military is not society.

 

The only problem I have with the decision is the way this was announced. This should have been communicated in a much more cohesive way.

 

They will for one reason,,,PC. Same reason the Marine Corps has a different PFT standard for Males and Females. They will simply change the requirements to get the numbers they want.
