The answer to that, with a very few rare exceptions, is a resounding NO.

 

why?

 

if they cannot do the job then they shouldn't be allowed in the career field; plain and simple......dick, pussy or both

there are minimum and maximum ages for military service, some positions require certain asvab scores, etc, etc.

everyone doesn't get to be a pilot...gotta have 20/20

everyone doesn't get to be a doctor

not talking about pre-requisites. just whether they are able to complete the training and serve or not; plain and simple. part of that equation is whether they score high enough on the asvab or not, in some cases it is dependent upon their vision or age, but sex is irrelevant if they can perform their duties.

 

So you accept that certain jobs require or contain pre requisites. We're on the same page so far.
You see this as a fairness issue. I don't. Although I do think it unfair that my sex disqualifies me from trying out for the women's gymnastics team
