I'm pretty sure that's understood when you sign up. But it's your contention that because Beck kept these feelings to herself that entire time that it's ok. So sign up as many transgender people you want as long as they pretend they aren't?

You are mixing shit up dude. Beck was a man when he was a SEAL. I bet he didn't express his feelings to be a woman to his brothers. Maybe he did maybe he didn't. I can't imagine he did because by its very nature it will cause a disruption within the group and that is something you absolutely cannot have, especially in that environment. Gays have been serving for years and years and some of them have probably been great servicemen and women but there is a reason they kept it hidden. Hell, George Washington recruited Baron Von Stubben to teach the Army how to do Drill and Ceremony and that guy was a flammer.

Do I really care one way or the other who someone is or what they want to be? Not really, what I care about is #1 Can they accomplish the mission and #1a Order and discipline. Unfortunately those things don't mesh well together. I know you don't understand and its not your fault because you aren't capable of understanding it. I don't blame you.
