There are plenty of people who know or love someone who has or wants to transition and they don't share you opinion. They, or you, can love someone all day long every day, but still disagree with the nomenclature. There is no "right way" to consider a transgender. People give a shit the same way they give a shit if a public school decides to pray or a mall puts up a Jesus scene during the Christmas season, or a bakery doesn't want to bake a cake for a gay couple. These issues are being forced in to the public discourse. Therefore, the public has a right to weigh in. I didn't see one bit of hateful commentary in this thread, just a general discussion of the issues but you came with the bigot call. That's why nothing ever gets resolved. People have to be willing to hear rational discussion from others and sometimes, folks just aren't willing.

If it's a tranny then it is confused and has deep seeded psychological issues. We have enough of that with the normal folk in the military. My stance is the same. No room for trannies. It can and will end badly for them.
