i THINK that if LSU played our schedule, this whole season would be a different story. if alabama had won those games we would have gotten respect and if you beat us then in turn you would get respect. sadly for us we didnt we, but we lost a lot of heartbreakers. i think more than anything people are saying that LSU may not be giving us enough respect. sure, our record is lousy, but the only game i can see that we got truly spanked would be the UM game, and that was a terrible game. NoIll is not a bad team either. im excited about this game... with all the upsets in Col football theres only that hope for us Bama fans, just break their hearts. i know youre out for revenge, but this will be no cake walk. i wish your team luck and hope there are no injuries. see you at the game! Exactly Golden. We have been playing each other for decades. Respect isin't going to be gained by one win regardless of who gets it. The respect is either there or its not. I have watched LSU for a long time and I simply like the program. The fans for the most part have "football knowledge" and are not bandwagon idiots and they normally hate the Barn and those pillowbiters in Knoxville! I mean come on whats to hate??

Respect is earned over time, it is not granted because of a thrashing in a football game. That would be awe. 75 years of slobber knockers with tough wins and losses, that make you hug the opponents neck and tell him, "Just wait till next year." gets you respect. Smack talking on the internet........well frankly it cheapens an otherwise honorable tradition.
you don think bama is any good?? THey are the only ones that hung with the #1 team in the nation,, if not for like three plays they should be like 6-3 or something. Love em or hate em,, you got to respect them,, its an awful lot of respect whn the #1 team's fans chant roll tide at their home game against the aggies,, i think that's pretty darn respectful to me

switch the schedules and i think youd be switching your "is's" to "if's". we were just asking you to realize where we are coming from, not believe it.
We actually wish we'd have played OU, Northern Illinois, and Southern Miss. The football gods would have our SOS schedule ranked higher. I, for one, would like to see our Tide fans stick around. They are infinitely more pleasant than Auburn fans, and I love throwing the smack around with them.
I have enjoyed sticking around here with LSU fans StaceyO. Most posts responding to mine have been civil and about football. Which is more than I can say for Barners and viles. The jokes and friendly trash talking is expected and even being a Bama fan I find it humorous. The vast majority of you guys are class acts.
