All right, How much has your taxes gone up under Obama? What has taxes has he raised? Where was all this righteous indignation last year?

Everyone pays taxes, and you know it, you can't buy a loaf of bread without paying taxes, so don't give me that crap. Of course, there are some abusing the welfare system, just like there are rich people cheating on their taxes, but the majority of people on welfare are working poor.

Well if you are correct, I can't wait to see what the people have to say about the social and political agendas of Obama and the far left.
He ran more centered than he appears to be not to mention the 10 trillion dollar deficits he has created.
I find it amazing that some of the same that cried about Bush's spending habits are pretty silent about Obama's these days!:insane:

It's not the taxes. It's what Obama plans to do with them that has people upset.

The top 20% of wage earners earn about a third of the W-2 income and pay about 55% of the personal income taxes.

The top 1% of wage earners pay about 40% of the income tax on about 20% of the income.

When capital gains are considered the numbers drastically different with the top 1% earning a far greater percentage of the income and paying a far greater percentage of the taxes.

Blended all together the super rich earn most of the income and pay most of the taxes.

you've got to count capital gains, it's income.

But it isn't the same as W-2 income, which is why it is treated differently.
